Information Collection and Use
While you visit our site, we’ll track:
- Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
- Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
- Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!
When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:
- Send you information about your account and order
- Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
- Process payments and prevent fraud
- Set up your account for our store
- Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes
- Improve our store offerings
- Send you marketing messages, if you choose to receive them
If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.
We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. This includes your name, email address and billing and shipping addresses.
We will also store comments or reviews, if you choose to leave them.
Like many site operators, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. We may collect your email address, but only if you voluntarily provide it to us. This may occur, for example, if you sign up to receive an email newsletter, request services, or enter a promotion. If you have provided your email address to us, we promise to use it only for the purposes for which it is provided. We will not use your email address to contact you for unrelated reasons.
Your email address may also be shared with the technology provider we use in connection with the purposes for which you provided it, and that technology provider may also contact you from time to time.

Registration or Account Data
We may collect other information from you when you register with our Site to use various features. Such information could include your name, birthday, postal code, screen name, and password (if applicable). As you use the Site, we could collect other data that you provide voluntarily (such as comments that you post).
We may use third parties to provide the functionality to allow you to register for the Site, in which case the third party will also have access to your information. Otherwise, we will not provide any personally identifying information about you to third parties, except if required by law.

Comments On Website
We collect information about visitors who comment on Sites that use our Akismet anti-spam service. The information we collect depends on how the User sets up Akismet for the Site, but typically includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).
Links to Square One Medical Website
We welcome links to the Square One Medical website. Although we prefer that you link to our homepage, you may create links to specific pages within our website. Any individual or organization linking to Square One Medical website must comply with all applicable laws and with the following conditions:
Unless Square One Medical specifically authorizes you to do so, you may not imply that Square One Medical endorses you, your organization, or your products;
- You may not misrepresent your, or your organizations, relationship with Square One Medical;
- You may not present false information about Square One Medical;
- You may not link to the Square One Medical website if your or your organization’s website contains content that could be construed as distasteful, offensive or controversial, or is not appropriate for viewing by all age groups.
- Square One Medical may change content on our site at any time, causing other organizations to have a broken or incorrect link.
- Square One Medical is not responsible for misdirected links from external websites.
Additional Rights of EEA (European Economic Area) & California Residents
If you are a resident of a country in the EEA or a resident of California, you have the rights, among others, to:

If you believe that our processing of your personal information infringes data protection laws, you have a legal right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority responsible for data protection. You may do so in the EU member state of your residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.

The security of your Personal Information is important to us but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Who Has Access to Information
Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, both Administrators and Shop Managers can access:
- Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
- Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.
Our team members have access to this information to help fulfill orders, process refunds and support you.
If you provide personal information to Square One Medical, our employees who have access based upon specific roles defined by procedural role-based access controls, use this information following appropriate procedures in handling and disclosing your information.
Square One Medical has designed its system to not store credit card numbers on our servers. Credit card numbers are submitted to a credit card authorization service. This service provides Square One Medical with credit card validation information only. We do not have access to your personal financial data.
Square One Medical may employ independent contractors to help manage data services, and such contractors may have access to data, similar to the access we give our employees. For example, we may choose to use a third-party application service to manage our customer relationship management activities, and Square One Medical may store sales account data, including personally identifiable information, with such a service provider. We endeavor to ensure that these third-party providers are protecting your information, but we are not ultimately responsible for their practices.
Legal Access to Information
We may share personal information with companies, organizations or individuals outside of Square One Medical if we have a good-faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary to:
- meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.
- potential violation of Square One Medical contracts or rules, including investigation of potential violations.
- detect, prevent, investigate or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues.
- protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Square One Medical, our users or the public as required or permitted by law.
Sale of Business or Assets
In the event that the Site or substantially all of its assets is sold or disposed of as a going concern, whether by merger, sale of assets or otherwise, or in the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy or receivership, the information we have collected about you may be one of the assets sold or merged in connection with that transaction.
Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13, nor do we knowingly distribute such information to third parties. If we become aware that we received personal information from someone under the age of 13, we will take steps to delete such information from our records.
