This course is through the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI), which is a nationally accredited organization and follows all of the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.
This course is for those with limited or no medical training who need a certification to treat victims in an emergency. This class teaches rescuers how to respond to and manage a first aid emergency prior to the arrival of emergency personnel. This course includes various First Aid emergencies, including how to respond to cardiac arrest with CPR, choking emergencies, bleeding emergencies, severe allergic reactions and various injury and environmental emergencies.
This course includes Adult/Child/Infant CPR. The Basic First Aid part of the course is geared towards adult workplace First Aid emergencies.
