HSI BASIC FIRST AID

This course is through the Health and Safety Institute (HSI), which is a nationally accredited organization and follows all of the American Heart Association guidelines.

This course is for those with limited or no medical training who need a certification to treat victims in an emergency. This class teaches rescuers how to respond to and manage a first aid emergency prior to the arrival of emergency personnel.

Course content includes first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, and environmental emergencies.

This course is 2-hours long and the completion certificate is valid for two-years.

This course generally applies to adult only First Aid.

This course is available as an all in-person class or a hybrid class (part online, part in-person skills session).
